Formed in Scotland by Stuart Adamson and Bruce Watson, Big Country emerged in the early 1980s with a distinctive rock sound featuring ringing, bagpipe-like guitars and Celtic-inspired arrangements. They achieved international success with their platinum debut album, The Crossing, and hit singles including In a Big Country and Fields of Fire.

The Alarm

The Alarm is known for songs like The Stand and Sixty Eight Guns. Emerging in the 1980s with albums like Declaration and Strength, the band returned in 2004 with In The Poppy Fields. They later released the acclaimed album Equals and the UK number one rock album Sigma.
