Shaun Ryder, born in the UK, formed Black Grape in 1993, blending psychedelic dance-rock and hip-hop. Debut "It’s Great When You're Straight…Yeah" hit UK No. 1 in 1995. Known for hits "Reverend Black Grape," "Fat Neck," and collaborations with Kermit and Johnny Marr. Despite breakups, the band reunited, releasing "Pop Voodoo" in 2017 and "Orange Head" in 2023.
