Norwegian duo Bobbysocks, formed in 1983 by Hanne Krogh and Elisabeth Andreassen, won Eurovision 1985 with "La Dette Swinge." They earned Norway's Peer Gynt Prize and released three albums, including Bobbysocks and Waiting for Morning. The duo disbanded in 1988 but occasionally reunite, such as at Eurovision's 50th anniversary concert.

Elisabeth Andreassen, born in Gothenburg, Sweden, rose to fame in the '80s. Known for diverse styles—country, pop, schlager—she won Eurovision in 1985 for Norway. Collaborated with Hanne Krogh in Bobbysocks; hits include "Dag Efter Dag" and "Let It Swing." Later teamed up with Kikki Danielsson and Lotta Engberg.
