LineUp

Founded in 1881, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, supported by banker Henry Lee Higginson, is a pillar of U.S. orchestral culture. Its legendary recordings, especially on RCA Victor, benefit from Boston's Symphony Hall acoustics. Known for premieres of works by Stravinsky and Bartók, it has been led by conductors Monteux, Koussevitsky, and Ozawa. It also has ties with Tanglewood Music Festival and contributed to film scores like Spielberg's "Schindler's List" and "Saving Private Ryan" with John Williams.
Composer & conductor Teddy Abrams, born in Berkeley, became the youngest major American symphony leader in 2014 with the Louisville Orchestra. Known for collaborations with folk & bluegrass artists and premieres of his works, including "Muhammad Ali Portrait." Also performed in NPR's Tiny Desk Concert.
Ray Chen, born in Taiwan and raised in Australia, is a renowned violinist known for his vibrant style. He won the Yehudi Menuhin and Queen Elisabeth competitions and performed with top orchestras. Chen's albums, including "Virtuoso" and "The Golden Age," feature works by classical masters and popular pieces. Notably, he played the Nobel Prize Concert and records for Sony and Decca.
