bugsy

bugsy is an American indie punk and garage rock quartet based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, formed in 2019. Consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Emily Schoonover, lead guitarist Griffen Desai, bassist/vocalist Shannon Maroney, and drummer Alex Norman, the band is known for their flowery indie pop melodies blended with emo highlights and a strong DIY aesthetic. They debuted with their 2020 EP Teratoma, followed by their 2023 sophomore EP, Now I Spend All of My Time Alone, which features introspective, personal storytelling written by Schoonover and recorded with producer Abe Anderson.
