Bulletboys

BulletBoys are an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1987. Founded by charismatic frontman Marq Torien, guitarist Mick Sweda, bassist Lonnie Vencent, and drummer Jimmy D'Anda, the band quickly established themselves as one of the premier arena-rock acts of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Blending a high-energy, blues-infused metal sound with a soulful vocal delivery, BulletBoys were frequently compared to rock royalty like Van Halen. They burst onto the mainstream scene with their self-titled debut album in 1988, which was produced by the legendary Ted Templeman. The album became an instant classic, certified gold, and spawned two massive MTV hits that defined the era: the explosive, groove-heavy "Smooth Up in Ya" and an iconic, hard-hitting cover of the O'Jays' "For the Love of Money."

Following the massive success of their debut, the band released their sophomore album, Freakshow, in 1991. Featuring fan-favorite tracks like "Hang on St. Christopher" and "THC Groove," the record solidified their reputation for delivering raw, unadulterated rock 'n' roll driven by Torien's powerhouse, dynamic vocals and Sweda's fierce, inventive guitar riffs.

Throughout the decades, BulletBoys have remained a resilient and relentless force on the global touring circuit. Known for their fierce musicianship, unmatched showmanship, and infectious, high-octane energy, their live shows are a celebratory, nostalgic trip back to the golden age of Sunset Strip rock, backed by a modern edge that keeps audiences captivated from the first chord to the final encore. Don't miss your chance to catch these platinum-selling rock icons live in concert!
