Cap'n Jazz

Cap'n Jazz, formed in Chicago, was an influential emo band known for their complex yet enthusiastic punk-pop style. Featuring Tim and Mike Kinsella, they gained a cult Midwest following with cryptic lyrics and unique vocals. After their only album, "Shmap'n Shmazz," they split, with members joining bands like The Promise Ring and Joan of Arc. Their legacy grew through a 1998 double-CD retrospective, "Analphabetapolothology."

Coffin Prick

Coffin Prick, based in Los Angeles, creates a unique musical blend of past and future with tech elements and abstract lyrics. He collaborates with Pancho and various artists, achieving a distinctive sound in the genre. Known for rich layers of guitars, bass, synthesizers, and drum machines.
