Fronted by Craig Owens, who cofounded Chiodos in 2001 and named it after the Chiodo Brothers, the band broke out with 2005’s All’s Well That Ends Well. 2007’s Bone Palace Ballet hit No. 1 Rock and No. 5 Billboard 200.
Hawthorne Heights formed in Dayton, Ohio in 2001, blending post-hardcore urgency with early 2000s emo and punk. Known for the anthems “Ohio Is for Lovers” and “Saying Sorry,” they earned two Gold albums: The Silence in Black and White (2004) and If Only You Were Lonely (2006).
