LineUp

Circle Jerks formed in LA’s South Bay in 1979, led by ex-Black Flag vocalist Keith Morris with guitarist Greg Hetson. Known for relentless, ferocious punk, they released six studio albums, including landmark debut Group Sex, and appeared in Decline of Western Civilization and Repo Man.
Detroit hardcore band led by vocalist John Brannon. Formed in 1981, known for an extreme, frills-free sound. Released the self-titled Touch and Go 7-inch (1982) and Tied Down 12-inch (1983); ended in 1985. Discography compiled as Total Recall (1992).
Hardcore icons Gorilla Biscuits, from NYC, shaped the late '80s straight-edge scene with an inclusive approach. Known for "Start Today," they featured Anthony Civarelli ("Civ"), Arthur Smilios, Luke Abbey, and Walter Schreifels. They disbanded in 1992, but their influence remains.
