With roots in a ranching family, he began his music career doing it all himself. Formerly of the indie-metal band the smalls, Lund crafts a unique style in Western music. He's won numerous awards, including 14 Canadian Country Music Awards, and debuted at the Grand Ole Opry in 2022.
