Coroner with Silver Dust and Tar Pond

Formed in Zürich in 1985, progressive thrash band Coroner features Ron Broder, Tommy Vetterli, and Marky Edelmann. Known as the Rush of thrash metal, the trio released five acclaimed records between 1987 and 1994, blending thrash with classical, jazz, and industrial elements.

TAR POND, formed in 2015 by heavy music legends including Celtic Frost’s Martin Ain and Coroner’s Marky Edelmann, blend doom and gloom with brutal, sad soundscapes. Their debut, “Protocol Of Constant Sadness,” honors Ain's legacy and features production by Coroner’s Tommy Vetterli. Known for intense, analogue-recorded tracks like “Please,” they’ve played sold-out shows in unique venues and merge heavy music with visual art through artist Thomas Ott.
