Formed in 1986 in Owensboro, Kentucky, Nine Pound Hammer are cowpunk pioneers mixing punk, hard rock, and country. Led by Scott Luallen and Blaine Cartwright, they released The Mud, the Blood, and the Beers (1988) and Hayseed Timebomb (1994).

Cosmic Psychos

Australian punk band Cosmic Psychos blend pub rock and garage punk since 1985. Known for heavy, no-frills sound, they’ve toured globally, collaborated with Eddie Vedder, and influenced acts like Silverchair.
