Sunami is a hardcore punk band from San Jose, California, formed in 2019. Originally a joke band, they gained notoriety for intense live performances. Their beatdown and metallic hardcore style features aggressive vocals, speedy riffs, and anti-authority messages, blending slam metal and thrash. Popular songs include "Weak Die First" and "Contempt of Cop." Their self-titled debut album released in 2023, and they have collaborated with Pain of Truth.

Formed in Hamilton, Ontario, Counterparts, a hardcore band led by vocalist Brendan Murphy, rose from the underground, collaborating with producer Will Putney. Known for refining their intense sound and profound themes on loss and endings.
