Cutting Crew, formed by Kevin Scott Macmichael and Nick Van Eede in Halifax, hit big with "(I Just) Died In Your Arms," topping U.S. charts. Known for their melodic rock style, they opened for top acts like The Bangles and Starship and were Grammy-nominated for Best New Artist. Their hits include "I've Been In Love Before" and "One For The Mockingbird." After Macmichael's passing, Van Eede revived the band with Gareth Moulton, releasing new albums and touring globally with acts like Go West and Wang Chung.
