D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles), formed in Houston, Texas in 1982, pioneered crossover thrash, blending hardcore punk and metal. Known for their aggressive, fast sound, they influenced many. Popular songs include "I Don't Need Society" and "The Five Year Plan." Their 2016 EP, "But Wait... There's More!", and re-released "Four Of A Kind" and "Thrash Zone" picture discs showcase their enduring legacy.

Pegboy

Pegboy, a Chicago punk supergroup, emerged in the '90s with a melodic post-hardcore sound. Founded by John and Joe Haggerty, along with Larry Damore and Steve Saylors, they debuted with "Three Chord Monte" and achieved fame with "Strong Reaction." Collaborated with Steve Albini, and Pierre Kezdy later joined on bass.
