D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles), formed in Houston, Texas in 1982, pioneered crossover thrash, blending hardcore punk and metal. Known for their aggressive, fast sound, they influenced many. Popular songs include "I Don't Need Society" and "The Five Year Plan." Their 2016 EP, "But Wait... There's More!", and re-released "Four Of A Kind" and "Thrash Zone" picture discs showcase their enduring legacy.

Cro-Mags are an American hardcore punk band from New York City, among the first to fuse hardcore with thrash metal. They’ve released six studio albums including Age of Quarrel (1986) and In the Beginning (2020), plus the 2020 EP Cro-Mags 2020.

Exmortus

Los Angeles-based neo-classical metallers Exmortus blend metal with Beethoven-like sophistication. Known for Ride Forth and The Sound of Steel, they've toured with Amon Amarth and Children Of Bodom.
