He has collaborated with blues legends and maintained a lively stage presence, earning comparisons to Willie Dixon. Estrin's band continues to blend blues and soul, featuring covers like Leonard Cohen's "Everybody Knows."
Mark Hummel, born in New Haven and raised in LA, is a renowned West Coast blues harmonica player, singer, and songwriter. Known for blending blues, jazz, and swing, he’s collaborated with artists like Sue Foley and Willie "Big Eyes" Smith. Hummel's notable albums, including *Feel Like Rockin’* and *Heart of Chicago*, highlight his style. Leading the Blues Survivors, he’s toured extensively and is considered a top U.S. harmonica player.
Curtis Salgado, from Eugene, Oregon, is an award-winning blues vocalist known for his soulful performances and powerful songwriting. He won the Blues Music Award for Song of the Year in 2018 and has claimed eleven Blues Music Awards, including B.B. King Entertainer of the Year. A former member of The Nighthawks and The Robert Cray Band, he inspired John Belushi's "Joliet" Jake Blues role in The Blues Brothers.
Dallas guitarist Anson Funderburgh, known for Texas and Delta blues, led the Rockets with Sam Myers on vocals/harmonica. Notable for his collaborations, he recorded with the Fabulous Thunderbirds and released acclaimed albums on the Black Top label. Funderburgh's blues career was heavily influenced by legends like Freddie King and Albert Collins.
