Dave Mason, born in Worcester, England, is a renowned British guitarist and singer/songwriter. He co-founded the '60s rock band Traffic and penned "Feelin' Alright." His successful solo debut, "Alone Together," featured guest artists and showcased his soulful style. Mason's 1977 hit "We Just Disagree" reached number 12 in the U.S. He collaborated with Eric Clapton's Derek and the Dominos, George Harrison, and Cass Elliot. His albums, including "Let It Flow," earned gold and platinum status. Mason later joined Fleetwood Mac and continued to tour extensively.

Orleans, formed in New York in 1972, are known for hits like "Still the One" and "Dance with Me." With founders John Hall, Larry Hoppen, and Wells Kelly, they achieved success on the Asylum label. After Hall's 1977 departure, Orleans saw further change but hit again with "Love Takes Time." Hall supported the antinuclear movement and joined MUSE, organizing No Nukes concerts with Jackson Browne and others. Hall returned to Orleans before his political career, winning a U.S. Congress seat in 2006. The band endured tragedies, including Kelly's and Larry Hoppen's passing.
