Formed in Oakland’s Bay Area in 1985, thrash metal band VIO-LENCE helped define the Bay Area sound. Known for 1988 debut Eternal Nightmare and 1990 Oppressing the Masses. Released Torture Tactics EP and Nothing to Gain (1991); reunited in 2019 with Sean Killian.
