Helmet is an American alternative rock band from New York City, formed in 1989 by vocalist/guitarist Page Hamilton. Best known for the albums Meantime (1992), Betty (1994) and Aftertaste (1997); they broke up in 1998 and reformed in 2004.

Down, the New Orleans heavy metal supergroup formed in 1991, delivers a potent blend of sludge, Southern, and stoner metal. Featuring members from Pantera and Corrosion of Conformity, they are recognized for their distinct sound. Their acclaimed debut "NOLA" achieved platinum status. They released the single "Blood Oath" and have an album, "Volume V."
