Ethel Cain and 9Million

9Million is a Toronto-based shoegaze band, led by multi-instrumentalist Matthew Tomasi. Their sound blends shoegaze and alt-rock with elements of alternative pop, indie rock, and synthwave. Tomasi is also recognized for his production work with artists like Ethel Cain. The band's discography includes the EP "Gush" and singles such as "Shine On" and "Creation." They have been featured in Exclaim!'s Class of 2025 and have toured across North America.

Ethel Cain, born Hayden Silas Anhedönia in Tallahassee, Florida, is an American singer-songwriter known for her ambient, Southern Gothic, and indie rock music. Her acclaimed 2022 debut, "Preacher's Daughter," garnered a cult following. In 2025, she released "Perverts" and "Willoughby Tucker, I'll Always Love You." She is the first transgender artist to reach the Billboard 200 top ten and is currently touring.
