Originally a Swedish progressive rock band named Force, Europe gained fame with pop-metal hits like "The Final Countdown." Key members include Joey Tempest and John Norum. The band achieved international success with Top Ten singles in the U.S. and U.K. After evolving style and key lineup changes, they released hits like "Carrie" and "Prisoners in Paradise," before reuniting in 1999. British alternative band Skunk Anansie, known for their clit-rock style blending metal and Black feminist rage, formed in 1994. Renowned for hits like "Selling Jesus," they have a dynamic sound captured in albums like Paranoid and Sunburnt, Stoosh, and Post Orgasmic Chill. Skin, Cass, Ace, and Mark Richardson have delivered electrifying performances worldwide. After a 2001 breakup, they reunited in 2009, releasing Wonderlustre and Black Traffic.
