Shooting Star

Kansas City rock band Shooting Star formed in the late 1970s, signed to Virgin, and released their 1979 self-titled debut. Known for modest hits "You've Got What I Need" and "Hollywood," and later "Touch Me Tonight." It's Not Over arrived in 1991.

Head East

Formed in St. Louis in the early ’70s, hard rock band Head East broke with 1975 debut Flat as a Pancake. Signed by A&M after “Never Been Any Reason”; the album went gold. Inducted into the Iowa Rock & Roll Music Association Hall of Fame in 2011.
