Dublin post-punk band Fontaines D.C.: Grian Chatten-led, dark poetic style. Known for Skinty Fia; toured with Arctic Monkeys; XL Recordings; produced by James Ford.
Hayley Williams, born in Mississippi, is the dynamic frontwoman of rock band Paramore, known for hits like "Misery Business" and "This Is Why." Her genre spans pop-punk, alternative rock, and synth-pop. In 2025, she released her Grammy-nominated solo album, "Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party," and launched a new band, Power Snatch, in early 2026. She is currently touring in support of her solo work while remaining active with Paramore.
Dublin-born folk singer Damien Dempsey broke through with the Contender EP (1995) and single Dublin Town (1997). His album Shots topped the Irish chart and went platinum; he won Best Irish Male at the Meteor Awards (2006, 2007).
Madra Salach, a Dublin six-piece, crafts electronica-infused Irish folk, blending tradition with experimentation. Known for captivating live shows and Paul Banks' emotive vocals, their debut EP, "It's a Hell of an Age," features popular songs like "The Man Who Seeks Pleasure" and "Blue & Gold." The EP charted on Irish and UK independent lists. They also contribute to "The Songs of Shane MacGowan" tribute album.
