Furia, a Polish black metal band from Katowice formed in 2003, is renowned for its unique "nekrofolk" style. Blending black metal with post-rock and folk influences, their music features poetic lyrics on nihilism and Silesian folklore. Notable albums include "Księżyc milczy luty" and "Huta Luna". They are considered influential in Polish black metal and collaborated with theatre director Jan Klata.
