Gaither Vocal Band with Gene McDonald and Kevin Williams

Formed in 1981 by Bill Gaither, Gaither Vocal Band is a leading American southern gospel group. With members like Mark Lowry and David Phelps, they’ve earned multiple Dove and Grammy Awards for albums including Homecoming, Pure and Simple, and That’s Gospel, Brother.

Gene McDonald, an American bass singer from southeast Missouri, is celebrated for his resonant voice in Southern Gospel music. Known for his powerful performances with the Gaither Homecoming series and groups like The Florida Boys, he blends traditional and modern Christian elements. McDonald earned Favorite Bass Singer of the Year in 2003. His popular songs include "Thanks To Calvary" and "How Big Is God." He released the album "Forgiven and Free" in 2025.

Kevin Williams, a Russell Springs, Kentucky native, is a celebrated guitarist, producer, and humorist in Southern Gospel and Christian music. Known for his extensive work with the Gaither Homecoming series, he has contributed to over 3,000 recordings, including numerous Grammy and Dove Award winners. An inductee into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, Williams has collaborated with artists like Vince Gill and Willie Nelson. His solo albums include "My Old Kentucky Home."
