GENA is the collaborative duo of Detroit-born Karriem Riggins and Dallas-born Liv.e, both LA-based. They craft deep left-field R&B, jazz, soul, and hip-hop. Riggins is an Emmy-winning producer, known for work with Common and Erykah Badu. Liv.e brings experimental R&B. Their debut album, "The Pleasure Is Yours," features songs like "Circlesz" and "Lead It Up." The name GENA means "God Energy, Naturally Amazing."

Liv.e is a Dallas, Texas singer, songwriter and producer known for experimental alt-R&B blending R&B, soul, jazz and hip-hop with a lo-fi, freeform style. She broke through with 2020 debut album Couldn’t Wait to Tell You… and 2023’s Girl in the Half Pearl.
