LineUp

The Stranglers, formed in Guildford, UK in 1974, are a punk band known for blending '60s garage rock with dark melodies and Dave Greenfield's keyboards. Their infamous antics complemented hits like "Golden Brown" and "Peaches." Albums like "Rattus Norvegicus" and "La Folie" showcase their evolving pop-oriented style. They collaborated with producers like Tony Visconti and Alan Winstanley. Original drummer Jet Black and keyboardist Dave Greenfield have both passed, but their legacy remains strong with hits and vivid storytelling.
Skids, formed in Dunfermline, Scotland, in 1977, are known for their art-punk style. Key members included vocalist Richard Jobson and guitarist Stuart Adamson. They gained fame with hits like "Into the Valley" and "Masquerade." Produced by Bill Nelson, their second album Days in Europa was well-received. After lineup changes and disbandment, they reunited in 2007 for tribute shows. The original lineup re-formed for a 2017 tour, releasing the album Burning Cities in 2018.
Formed in Derry in 1976, The Undertones, known for hits like 'Teenage Kicks', toured with The Clash, released acclaimed LPs, and reconvened with Paul McLoone in 1999.
Buzzcocks, formed in Manchester by Pete Shelley and Howard Devoto, helped shape British punk with energetic pop-punk tunes. Known for songs like "Orgasm Addict" and "What Do I Get?", they released influential albums such as Another Music in a Different Kitchen and Love Bites. Disbanded in 1981, they re-formed in 1989, continuing to tour and release music, including 1993's Trade Test Transmissions. Their punk-pop sound inspired bands like Nirvana. After Shelley's 2018 death, Steve Diggle led the band, releasing Sonics in the Soul in 2022.
