Formed in NYC by British expat Rob "Bucket" Hingley in 1981, The Toasters are a pioneering American ska band. Known for hits like "Beat Up" and founding the largest indie ska label, Moon Ska Records. Their influence helped popularize ska in the US.
Formed in 2006, Half Past Two is an Orange County ska band known for evolving the genre. Their LP "Talk Is Killing Me" blends ska punk with introspective themes, produced by Reade Wolcott. They first joined Bad Time Records for the 2020 "Ska Against Racism" compilation.
