Handsome Dick Manitoba with The Strains and I Are Citizen

Handsome Dick Manitoba is a punk rock singer best known as lead singer and longtime frontman of The Dictators/Dictators NYC for over 40 years, starting with 1977’s The Manifest Destiny. He also toured singing with MC5 and hosted a SiriusXM show for 14 years.

The Strains are an American punk rock band formed in Detroit, Michigan. Comprising seasoned touring veterans from the ashes of bands like Dumbell and The Damagers, the group delivers a raw, high-energy sound that blends Motor City garage rock with street punk. Fronted by primary songwriter Paul Grace Smith, they released their debut full-length album in 2022, followed by a 7-inch single on I-94 Records in 2025.
