New wave band A Flock Of Seagulls from Liverpool soared in the USA before the UK. Known for hits like 'I Ran' and 'Wishing.' Founded by Mike Score, they won fame despite his noted hairstyle. Reunited briefly in 2003 for VH1.
Honeymoon Suite, formed in Niagara Falls, 1981, is known for hits like "Feel It Again" & "New Girl Now." Famous in Canada & the US, they achieved peak success in the '80s and '90s, signed by WEA Canada. Key members: Johnnie Dee & Derry Grehan. Reunited in the 2010s for tours & new albums.
Men Without Hats, new wave pioneers, led by the Doroschuks & joined by Sho Murray & Sahara Sloan, continue their synth-pop legacy. Known for "The Safety Dance" & global tours, they've recently had hits inducted into the Canadian Songwriter's Hall of Fame.
