Immersion is the early 1990s project of Malka Spigel and Colin Newman, known for Minimal Compact and Wire. Their releases include Low Impact (1999) and Sleepless (2018), plus Nanocluster albums with Tarwater, Laetitia Sadier and Ulrich Schnauss.

Suss

Suss is a New York-based instrumental trio pioneering "ambient country" and "desert noir." Their cinematic soundscapes blend Americana instrumentation with atmospheric minimalism. Core members are Bob Holmes, Pat Irwin, and Jonathan Gregg. Known for songs like "Chisholm Trail," their albums include "Ghost Box," "Promise," the acclaimed "SUSS" (a top ambient release of 2022), "Birds & Beasts," and "Counting Sunsets." They collaborated with Andrew Tuttle.
