Formed by Ares in 1993 in Bergen, Norway, Aeternus pioneered Dark Metal, mixing Black and Death Metal with classical and folk. Known for "Dark Sorcery" and tours with Deicide, Behemoth, and others.
Savannah, GA's Kylesa blends metal, hardcore punk, and psychedelic rock with three distinct singers. Formed in 2001, key albums include "Spiral Shadow" and "Ultraviolet."
Italian band Ponte del Diavolo blends Doom/Black metal with dark wave vocals, featuring dual bassists. Hailing from Turin, they've released several EPs, including "Mystery of Mystery" and "Sancta Menstruis," and signed with Season of Mist.
Blood Incantation, Denver-based interstellar death metallers, expand horizons with "Luminescent Bridge." Known for Kosmische influences and acclaimed albums, mixed by Arthur Rizk.
ABYSSIC blends funeral death/doom and black metal with orchestration and upright bass. Formed by Memnock, Elvorn, and André Aaslie, with Asgeir Mickelson, they debuted with 'A Winter's Tale' in 2016. Later joined by Tjodalv and Makhashanah, they released 'High The Memory' in 2019 and 'Brought Forth In Iniquity' in 2022.
The Black Dahlia Murder, a beloved death metal band from Detroit, persevered after co-founder Trevor Strnad's passing, with Brian Eschbach shifting to vocals. Known for their energetic style, they've earned fan support and loyalty, highlighted by a tribute show with returning guitarist Ryan Knight.
Oslo’s 1349, born from Alvheim in 1997, pioneers in Norwegian black metal with albums like Liberation & Hellfire. Known for Satanic themes, blasting beats, and theatrical shows with corpse-paint. Renowned for staying true to their roots; collaborated with figures like Frost (Satyricon) and Thomas Gabriel Fischer.
