Arthur Brown, born in England, is a rock singer known for his operatic voice and theatrical performances. A pioneer of shock and progressive rock, he influenced heavy metal. Leading bands like The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, his 1968 hit "Fire" topped UK and Canadian charts and reached #2 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Known as "The God of Hellfire," he collaborated with legends like Jimi Hendrix, The Who, and Frank Zappa. Brown's prolific career includes work with The Alan Parsons Project and The Prodigy. His theatrical show "A Human Perspective" launched in 2022 to critical acclaim.
Icelandic band Sólstafir, formed in 1995, blends post-metal with progressive, black, and Viking metal. Known for atmosphere-driven albums like "Masterpiece of Bitterness" and hits like "Fjara," they've charted in Europe and collaborated with labels like Spikefarm and Season of Mist.
Mantar, a German blackened doom punk metal duo from Bremen/Gainesville, was founded in 2012 by Hanno Klänhardt and Erinç Sakarya. Known for their powerful guitar and drum sound, they've hit Germany's Top 10 albums and toured globally, including Europe, the US, and beyond. Their album, "Post Apocalyptic Depression," breaks new ground with a raw, unexpected style.
