Inspiral Carpets, formed in Oldham, Greater Manchester, became a key Madchester band with hits like "This Is How It Feels." Known for their '60s psychedelic style, they collaborated with Mark E. Smith and had Noel Gallagher as a roadie. Their debut album, "Life," and singles "Joe" and "Dragging Me Down" were successes. They re-formed in 2014 for live shows and studio work, and in 2023, after Craig Gill’s 2016 passing, members reunited for tours. Their legacy includes hit singles and vibrant live performances.
