Jack Badcock and Dallahan

World-folk band Dallahan debuted with When the Day Is On the Turn (2014), touring Europe and North America and earning Scots Trad Awards nods. Albums include Matter of Time (2016) and Smallworld (2019). Collaborators include RSNO and Dougie MacLean.

Jack Badcock, raised in Ireland and England, now based in Scotland, is a singer and guitarist known for his world-folk band Dallahan. He has toured globally, was a BBC Young Traditional Musician finalist, and penned The Driftwood Project. His debut album, Cosmography, blends American folk, funk, soul, and British-Irish traditions. It was nominated for the German Music Critic’s Choice Awards. Badcock also supported Eddi Reader on tour and received a nomination for Composer of the Year at the Scots Trad Music Awards.
