Japanese Breakfast’s fourth album, For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women), is the band’s first proper studio release. Produced by Grammy winner Blake Mills and tracked at Sound City in Los Angeles, it’s led by frontwoman and songwriter Michelle Zauner.
Ginger Root is the indie soul project of Cameron Lew from Huntington Beach, California. Known for his "aggressive elevator soul," he blends Japanese city pop with retro R&B, disco, and funk. Popular songs include "Loretta" and "City Slicker." Notable albums are 2024's SHINBANGUMI and 2022's Nisemono. Lew is also recognized for his self-produced music and distinctive visual aesthetic.
