LineUp

Hiroshima, an innovative group blending R&B, pop, world music, and jazz, is known for integrating traditional Japanese instruments like the koto and taiko drums. Founded by Dan and June Okida Kuramoto, they gained popularity with their 1979 debut. The band has released hit albums with Arista, Epic, and Qwest, evolving their sound while maintaining a strong fan base.
Portland's smoky-voiced singer-songwriter and pianist Jarrod Lawson, known for his message-driven soul-jazz, wowed fans at global festivals and venues. Described as “the blue-eyed soul boy of jazz,” his debut and "Jarrod Lawson At The BBC" EP earned acclaim. Lawson won Soul Artist Of The Year at the Jazz FM Awards and collaborated with Sammy Figueroa and Moonchild on “Be The Change.”
