He joined Bad English, scoring hits like "When I See You Smile." Waite's emotional depth and powerful vocals earn him lasting acclaim.
Born in Guildford, Sydney, Rick Springfield is an Australian rocker famed for "Jessie's Girl" and Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital. Popular in '80s with hits like "I've Done Everything for You" and "Don't Talk to Strangers," he mixed album rock with pop hooks. Worked with Foo Fighters on Sound City project and starred alongside Meryl Streep in Ricki & the Flash.
London's Wang Chung, originally Huang Chung, soared in the '80s US music scene with hits like "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" & "Dance Hall Days." Known for new wave style, they focused on the US market, collaborating with major labels like Arista & Geffen.
Paul Young, born in the UK, rose to fame with hits like "Wherever I Lay My Hat" and "Every Time You Go Away." Known for his soulful pop/R&B style, his albums topped UK charts, and he collaborated with artists like Zucchero, Clannad, and Vangelis.
