Known for their soulful vocals, groovy beats, and energetic live shows, they achieved fame with hits like "Take Your Time (Do It Right)," "Just Be Good to Me," and "The Finest." Their collaborations with producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis shaped their signature sound. They are recognized as key figures in 1980s R&B.
