Formed in Los Angeles in 1985, punk rock band L7 fused metallic riffs with raw punk attack. Their Butch Vig-produced 1992 album Bricks Are Heavy brought acclaim and a Top 10 single, "Pretend We're Dead"; they returned with 2019's Scatter the Rats.

Lunachicks

NYC’s legendary punk band Lunachicks, known for wild shows and satirical edge, shared stages with The Ramones and Joan Jett. They released 5 albums and a memoir.

CSS

São Paulo's dance-rock band CSS ("cansei de ser sexy") gained fame with hits like "Music Is My Hot, Hot Sex," toured with Gwen Stefani, and worked with Bobby Gillespie.
