Dave Douglas, from NYC, is a renowned trumpeter and composer known for his stylistic diversity, over 50 recordings, and collaborations with ensembles like Sound Prints and High Risk. He has received a Doris Duke Artist Award, GRAMMY® nominations, and composed for groups like the Trisha Brown Dance Company. Douglas is the Artistic Director of Bergamo Jazz Festival, teaches at Mannes School, and co-founded Greenleaf Music.
