Les Claypool, born in Richmond, California, is a renowned bassist, singer, and songwriter. As Primus's frontman, he's celebrated for his eccentric, funk-infused progressive rock and unique slap bass technique. His work includes popular songs like "Jerry Was a Race Car Driver" and projects such as Oysterhead and The Claypool Lennon Delirium. Ranked among the greatest bassists, he is recognized for innovative contributions to alternative music and received a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Claypool Lennon Delirium is an American rock band formed in 2015, a collaboration between Les Claypool (Primus) and Sean Ono Lennon. Known for their "progadelic" style, blending psychedelic and progressive rock with surreal lyricism.
