Chanel Beads, the project of American musician Shane Lavers, originated in Seattle and is based in New York City. Known for a distinctive blend of Indie Pop, Dream Pop, and experimental electronic music, Lavers crafts complex, melancholic sound collages with sentimental lyrics. Lorde, born Ella Yelich-O'Connor in New Zealand (1996), is a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter.
