Chanel Beads, the project of American musician Shane Lavers, originated in Seattle and is based in New York City. Known for a distinctive blend of Indie Pop, Dream Pop, and experimental electronic music, Lavers crafts complex, melancholic sound collages with sentimental lyrics. Notable works include the album Your Day Will Come (2024) and songs like "Police Scanner" and "Ef." He collaborates with Maya McGrory and Zachary Paul, and has supported Lorde.
Amber Bain (The Japanese House) broke out in 2015 with reverb-drenched, emotive alt-pop; known for vulnerable songwriting on “Sad To Breathe” and “Boyhood.”
New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde, born Ella Yelich-O'Connor in Auckland, creates introspective electropop and indie pop. Known for hits like "Royals" (Grammy winner) and "Green Light," her albums include *Pure Heroine*, *Melodrama*, *Solar Power*, and *Virgin* (2025). She has earned multiple awards, celebrated for her unique style and impactful songwriting.
