The War And Treaty, founded in 2014 by Michael and Tanya Trotter, are a dynamic Americana duo known for their passionate style. Trombone Shorty, born Troy Andrews in New Orleans, is a renowned trombonist, composer, and philanthropist known for his unique blend of jazz, funk, rock, and soul. A child prodigy, he played with Bo Diddley at four and toured with Lenny Kravitz at 13. His celebrated albums include "Backatown" and "For True," both topping jazz charts. Andrews founded the Trombone Shorty Foundation to support music education in New Orleans.
