The Skints are a London four-piece formed in Northeast London in 2007. Fusing reggae, ska-punk, dub, grime, hip-hop, soul and dancehall, they broke out with Live, Breathe, Build, Believe (2009) and the Easy Star-released FM (2015).

London-based reggae vocalist and songwriter Hollie Cook, daughter of Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook, coined “tropical pop” on MySpace. She joined The Slits at 19, debuted solo with 2011’s Hollie Cook, and later made Vessels of Love with producer Youth.
