Hugh Cornwell is a musician, songwriter and performer best known as leader of The Stranglers, main songwriter across 10 albums including Rattus Norvegicus and La Folie. He wrote Golden Brown, which reached No. 2 in the UK, then launched a solo career.
Magnum are a Birmingham, England melodic hard rock band formed in 1972 by Tony Clarkin and Bob Catley. They broke through with 1982’s Chase the Dragon and peaked with 1988’s Wings of Heaven, a U.K. Top 5 album. Reformed in 2001.
