Norwegian pop singer Maria Mena broke out in 2001 with the single My Lullaby. Her hot-selling album Another Phase boosted her profile in Europe. Her confessional, faintly alternative sound shone on Mellow and the hit You’re the Only One, then on US debut White Turns Blue (2004).
