Mdou Moctar, a Nigerien Tuareg guitarist from Agadez, redefines Saharan rock. Known for his innovative, psychedelic guitar style blending traditional melodies with fiery shredding, he also starred in the first Tuareg film, "Akounak Tedalat Taha Tazoughai." His acclaimed albums include "Ilana: The Creator," "Afrique Victime," and "Funeral for Justice."

Rosali

Rosali's music, known for its introspective and fluid style, captivates with ambient guitar and raw lyrics. Hailing from Philadelphia and now in North Carolina, she released "Bite Down" on Merge Records. This album showcases her collaboration with Mowed Sound and Destroyer’s Ted Bois.
